Was born in 1945, in the town of Rubtsovsk, the territory of Altai, RSFSR. Has been performing photography since 1958.
Since 1965 has participated in more than 100 international and national exhibitions in Belgium, France, Argentine, Japan, Yugoslavia, Poland and other countries.
Has won over 30 golden and silver medals and diplomas, as well as Grand Prix in France.
Cofounder of the USSR photo artists’ union, Moscow, 1989.
Active member of KO NSPAU.
Honorary member of Krakow photosociety (Poland).
Winner of the Municipal award for photography in 2004.
Winner of the First award for photography n.a. Aleksei Ivanitskii, 2012.
One of the most remarkable representatives of the Kharkiv school of photography.
